The Fenway/Kenmore Square neighborhood is located just west of Back Bay. This area includes the symbolic landmark and the great pillar of Boston, Fenway Park.
Due to its proximity to nearby colleges as well as the presence of lower living expenses, this neighborhood is comprised almost entirely of college students and young professionals. However, scattered through this neighborhood are luxury high-rises and townhouses.
The center of the neighborhood is called Kenmore Square and is famous for great restaurants and a thriving nightlife. Determined Boston sports fans define Boston but more specifically this area. Intense rivalry, competition, and loyalty runs rampid through the air, making the bar menu and draft list pretty much the only items deserving of a diverse opinion.
This neighborhood is perfect if you want to save a bit of money. Yet, the good places go extremely quick due to the demand in this territory.
