Fenway / Symphony
The Fenway/Symphony neighborhood is located just west of Back Bay. This area includes the symbolic landmark and the great pillar of Boston, Fenway Park. Fenway Real estate is among the most popular in the downtown area.
The Fenway/Symphony neighborhood is home to several establishments. Some notable Fenway real estate includes Northeastern University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, portions of Boston University, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Due to its proximity to nearby colleges as well as the presence of lower living expenses, this neighborhood is comprised almost entirely of college students and young professionals. However, scattered through this neighborhood are luxury high-rises, townhouses, and other fine forms of Fenway real estate.
The neighborhood is famous for great restaurants and a thriving nightlife. Determined Boston sports fans define Boston but more specifically this area. Intense rivalry, competition, and loyalty runs rampid through the air, making the bar menu and draft list pretty much the only items deserving of a diverse opinion.
This neighborhood is perfect for great proximity to all in Boston without the “Back Bay” price tag. Throughout the neighborhood are brownstone townhomes, brick walk-ups, and five- to six-story apartment buildings.Over the last 20 years almost every residential building in Kenmore has been purchased by Boston University and turned into dorms, especially between Beacon Street and Commonwealth Avenue.
