Seaport / Fort Point
Seaport is an area south of Fort Point and is also referred to as the Seaport South Boston area. Within it, there has been a lot of recent construction and development in pursuit for the creation of a new residential area in Boston. Over the last couple of years there has been a surge of new successful restaurants, bars, and shops. The most likely option would be a concierge luxury style high-rise condominium or apartment.
Fort Point refers to the area on the other side of Fort Point Chanel from Boston’s financial district. The area is mostly commercial space but recently there has been an increased amount of commercial space conversions into residential condos and apartments. This has become one of the more desirable types of living spaces due to the sheer size and open floor plan concept. The term loft is used a lot to describe residential living in this area.
